IT’S MY JOB TO KEEP YOU INFORMED & PROTECT THE QUALITY OF OUR EDUCATION.

I was elected to the MPCSD Board in November of 2020 (thank you voters).

My son is a student at Hillview. My daughter just graduated from MPCSD. My mom lives in Menlo Park. When I think about health, safety and education, I think about how it affects our entire community.

Prior to my board work, I was a journalist (KQED, The New York Times, Reuters) for 20+ years. I also have my master’s degree in public policy and served as education policy analyst for former Assemblyman Rich Gordon. I use science and data to scrutinize and pursue healthy learning environments—and sustainable budgets.

I am committed to providing every child—regardless of circumstance—the education and opportunities to build the life of their dreams.

We’re in this together.

I send out updates immediately after each board meeting to report on important challenges and actions. Sign up here to get those newsletters.

Thank you for your support.
